By the time i arrived and found a location the sun was already rising, i was in a rush to get the tripod an camera out and set up i rushed the composition and rushed to get my first image. As you can see the image above is terrible due to the ISO being 1280 and i was in such a rush i had not noticed and set my exposure accordingly. There is so much noise in the image its really unusable but i thought i would include it as a lesson to give yourself plenty of time !
I struggled to find a composition and really needed to give myself much more time or have done a reccy of the area previously so i had a good idea of where i was heading for sunrise.
After sunrise i decided to do exactly that and i stayed to look around the area to find a few compositions and just get a general feel for the area so should i return i will have a better idea of what and where i need to be.
I am glad i made the effort to get out of my warm pit at 05:30 on my day off to come out, even though there are no portfolio images , i had a great walk along part of the North Down Way, sadly as you se the fog came and burnt off really quick so never managed to capture it.
I walked back to the car and decided i would head to Kings Wood in Challock on my way home to try and capture some autumnal forest shots.
