Recently, i had the opportunity to visit The Skygarden in London. The garden is situated at the top of one of London's newest skyscrapers, The Walkie Talkie. If you would like to visit this amazing place for FREE just visit their website and book at date and time, print out the ticket and once through the airport style security, take a lift to the 35th floor.
Inside the main space you will find a array of different seating areas for you to sit and admire your surroundings. You can even purchase a selection of drinks both Hot and Cold, Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic along with a range of different snacks from the outlet situated in the middle.
There is also a outdoor balcony where you can take in the stunning City seeing all the way from the financial district of Canary Wharf across the river to City Hall , Tower Bridge, The Shard and all the way round to and beyond St Paul's.
Then you can walk around the space up stairs and take in the array of tropical plants that are very well looked after with misters activating every so often to increase humidity i would guess. As you walk round you pass the Fenchurch Restaurant situated above the main space.
As you pass this you get the first glimpse of the space to the rear of the building over looking the old Natwest Tower the new Cheese Grater and of course The Gerkin !
