Day 4 of our Exmoor trip took us along the coastal path from Lynton to the Valley of the Rocks and along to Wringcliff beach via a steep path. Great walk along the cliff side with the valley of the rocks to look forward to, well worth a visit if you are ever in North Devon.Read More
Today we did the City Wall walk of Dubrovnik Old Town. Tickets are 150 Kuna and include the City walls and entry to the fort the other side of Kings Landing . The walk of the walls probably took around two to two and a half hours , we got here fairly early on a cloudy morning which was perfect as we neared the end the sun was at its highest and the temperature rose quickly.
The cloudy start made for some atmospheric images again can't wait to edit the Dslr files.
Arrived safe and well in Croatia and today was our first full day and headed straight down to the old town as my wife was dying to see kings landing , what a place. Timed it right as we got off the bus we headed straight down to it. There were hardly anyone around so took advantage of getting some images before the tours arrived.
will post more as and when I can , look forward to editing Dslr files
Monday evening was Camera Club night at the Isle of Thanet Photographic Society. This week was Studio night and our models for the evening were anything but your usual high fashion models. Some members of the IOTPS brought in some studio equipment to photograph our subjects. Due to the number of members and the fact that radio triggers were required to fire the strobes it was a little difficult to work in a logical way. Another club member decided that we could set up a single speedlite fired through a umbrella outside the main hall.
The following images were all shot in that way.
This is Cut Throat Steve, a great character who used to teach gymnastics while serving in the armed forces, he did several tours of duty in various conflicts around the globe and is currently the proud owner of a recently assembled trike thanks to his fellow club members.
This is Kevin Bolden, a member of The South East 17 division
They were both active members of The Harley-Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain . Thanks to Kevin, Steve and all the members that gave up there time to come and model for us and hope that between our members we were able to provide you with some usable images.
