Took a trip out to Folkestone in Kent today , down to The Warren. Sadly it was a last minute decision and the tide was the highest i had ever seen. This was a problem as my intention was to get some long exposure shots of the old groynes, not possible as these were under water when i arrived.
I went with a friend and fellow photographer Barry Stewart , we decided to walk along the coast to see what we could find as we were there. While walking along i noticed the clouds were moving pretty quick and that a shot looking straight up might work. This is the image above so ill let you judge if it worked or not.
After spending a couple of hours just walking around the area we managed to get a couple of images of some groynes before we left. The moral of the story is Prepare !! Should have looked at the tide times !
Still it was nice just to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
