Just got back from a two day trip to Wales. I went with a couple of friends, both experienced hikers who have done this route before. We Took the train from Ramsgate at 04:55 hrs and a couple of changes later we arrived at Llandudno Junction. Graeme had arranged a hire car which he collected and then drove us down to the Youth Hostel we were staying at.
We stayed at the YHA in Pen-y-Pass Snowdon, the perfect location for climbing Tryfan. We had planned a shorter hike on the first day but the weather on arrival was poor and visibility was not great so we decided to go look at some routes available to us for the big climb the following day. I enjoyed walking up the first part of the assent to get a better look at Tryfan and a possible route via The Glyders , just like being out in the hills , so peaceful even in bad weather.
Below is a sort video i complied of the two days and our hike up part of Tryfan
